When I click on some of these it reveals how old they are and the workmanship.
You don't see this kind of stuff anymore in cemeteries. That's what's so great about wandering in the old ones.
I think what is sad is that a person's life is summed up on a grave marker with their name, dates of birth & death, maybe a sentiment like Rest in Peace or Beloved Father.
