The clock is one of a kind operated by steam. A very popular tourist attraction. Its not far from cruise ships docking. I was able to capture the well dressed lady being approached by the street person. If you click on the pix the expression on her face is quite interesting.
Nicely done, Don! I recognize that clock from my recent travel to Vancouver! Did she give him any money?
Val - the clock also sounds every 15 minutes with tooty-sounding steam driven horns up at the top of the clock, with the most melodic tooting on the hour.
I ventured to Chinatown from Gastown, but I was disappointed - it seemed very boarded up and run down.
