Street photography, raw street scenes, point and shoot, mostly black and white, people and things. Demonstrations, incidents tragic or happy. Posing is not for me, poor focus is a possibility.
This photo, I took of this old gentleman, was in Munich. He is one of a very few street people I observed on our tour of UK and Europe. I tried to speak to him but there was a language problem. He had a plate of water for his dog and there is a small plate for him (empty) so I dropped a bit of change in and got a bit of a smile from him.
When my hubby was stationed in Germany he told me that there were never any street people b/c the government gave everyone a job, including menial tasks like street sweeping.
I always feel the sorriest for the animals though.
Times have changed since the reunification, I guess. Homelessness seems even worse when it's an older person. In this country the dogs are usually well-looked-after, and there are even vets who go and check them over.
I used to be a P.I., so my camera work came to me with no problem. I photograph people and things mostly street situations.I am all over the map with my photos.Things that are old in appearance with some history attached would be something that I would stop for and photograph.

Thanks for the comments. Compared to the mess we have in the Canadian cities, there were very few homeless people that I saw in the Uk and Europe.
