Please excuse the negativity of this pix but the beauty of our city is taken for granted.
All beautiful cities have their warts....I just never shot any photos of the ones in San Francisco, but believe me, there are some parts that are downright icky.
The biggest problem in most UK cities (and not just the cities) is litter. We are a dirty people.
The litter in Washington State is also disgusting, despite the best efforts of people to clean it up, it always reappears.
It is strange perhaps but I see beauty in your caring enough to capture this picture, and in its beautiful soft black and white texture.
